AIRDIS was created by its founder to truly be an all-in-one telecommunications provider that uses its expertise in technology & customer service to give business owners a breath of fresh air. The founder was fully aware of the unfortunate way the average business owner was treated by the telecom giants and he set out to form a company that stood side-by-side its customers in the face of adversity instead of toe-to-toe.
The company's roots date back to 1998 when its founder started his first business Cable Max Solutions, Inc. Cable Max became a successful local provider of structured cabling solutions to commercial businesses all over the Chicagoland area. When industry challenges surfaced after the boom of the 90's, Cable Max ventured into providing and installing Avaya phone systems. Cable Max received its Avaya Business Partner status in spring of 2000.
With Cable Max's new ability to offer Avaya phone systems combined with its expertise in structure cabling, they were able to successfully grow their customer base by offering a combination of services. Cable Max always excelled at customer service. Even from the very beginning Cable Max would offer their customers a broader array of services as compared to the other structured cabling providers in the market. So, adding the Avaya product line was not only strategic, but it was also the next logical step considering the desire to provide more value to their customers.
Cable Max took another strategic step shortly after becoming an Avaya Business Partner by beginning to offer their customers network service solutions through agent programs with local telephone companies. Cable Max became an Ameritech ESP partner then acquired agent agreements with McLeod, Focal Communications, ISG Communications and MPower. These steps allowed Cable Max the ability to provide a very comprehensive service to its customers by including in its scope the ability to cable a customer's location, install and custom program their phone system and provide them with their connection to the outside world. Cable Max began providing telephone lines, internet access, private lines and direct dial numbers through these strategic alliances.
AIRDIS was eventually formed as a separate entity from Cable Max to expand the company's capabilities and product offerings without limitations.
With the new entity AIRDIS was able to abandon its agent agreements in lieu of becoming a regulated phone company (Competitive
Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC)). This move enabled AIRDIS to use its industry expertise and contacts to provide telecom services, phone system installations and structured cabling solutions all from one company, presented on one monthly invoice and delivered with the excellent service of the Cable Max heritage.
The customer base that Cable Max earned over the years expressed a serious need for a company that actually took responsibility for a telecom challenge and found a way to solve it. AIRDIS was founded to be that company. The industry professionals that make up the AIRDIS team are not quitters nor will they ever shy away from a challenge. Customers will never hear an AIRDIS employee say; "it's not my problem". If one of AIRDIS' customers has a problem, it is AIRDIS' problem too.
Now years later the AIRDIS concept is a huge success. This ongoing success is due to AIRDIS' commitment to provide personal service to its customers before and after the sale. When working with AIRDIS this is what you can count on.
So, you ask: "what is this revolution?" The AIRDIS revolution is that we refuse to stand with the majority in the telecom industry who continue to project the image that YOU are not that important and YOU therefore do not deserve good service. Everyone of our customers (members) are extremely important to us. We want ALL of our customers to feel as though they are members in our exclusive telecom country club. When we say customer service we are talking about personal, valet style interactions that leave our customers feeling empowered and in control of technology instead of being at its mercy.
So, welcome, browse the site, there is something here for everyone in search of telecom solutions. Let us know what you think. We are always available and willing to help.
